Connect your Squarespace store

Paste a Developer API key from your Squarespace site and your physical products, sizes and stock sync to within. Marketplace orders appear in your Squarespace Commerce → Orders panel like any other sale, and Squarespace decrements the stock automatically. Squarespace has no live notifications for API keys, so we re-check your stock about every 15 minutes (and full-sync nightly).

Before you start

API keys are available on Squarespace Commerce Core, Plus and Advanced plans (Business plans can't generate one).

  1. In Squarespace, open Settings → Advanced → Developer API Keys and click Generate key.
  2. Name it “within” and give it Products: Read, Inventory: Read and Write and Orders: Read and Write.
  3. Copy the key — Squarespace shows it only once — and paste it below.

Stored securely and used only to sync your catalog and place your orders. Revoke it any time from the same Squarespace page — that disconnects the store.

Squarespace doesn't tell us where your shop is. Optional now — shoppers see it as the pickup spot, so add it if you can (or send it to us later).

Only physical products sync (gift cards, digital goods and services stay off within). Your inventory data is used to run the marketplace and never sold or shared with other stores.
